I bought this last year, and never used it. It was test run at the Stihl dealer only, and then had the gas mix drained promptly. It has never been in wood. This is the Wrap model, that has the full wrap handle bar, extended clutch cover with chain catcher, and larger spikes. The wrap models are designed for professional loggers in the Pacific Northwest. The design of the handle makes it much easier to take down large trees that are on a steep hillside. The 441 is a pro saw, built in Germany to the highest standards. It has a 70.7cc motor, with 5.5 hp. It weighs 15.2 lbs without the bar and chain. The Stihl 441 is the replacement for the 440. The 441 has much better anti vibration features, has more power, and uses much less gas than it's predecessor.
