Acharei Part One

Discover the detail of the offerings for Yom Kippur and there meanings.  Acharei is Hebrew for “after the death” or “after,” fifth and sixth words or the fifth word, and the first distinctive word or words, in the parashah) is the 29th weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה,parashah) in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading and the sixth in the book of Leviticus. It constitutes Leviticus 16:1–18:30. The parashah is made up of 4,294 Hebrew letters, 1,170 Hebrew words, and 80 verses, and can occupy about 154 lines in a Torah Scroll (סֵפֶר תּוֹרָה, Sefer Torah).
